We chose this place for Christmas lunch! Well, we felt at home with the only difference being that we were all comfortably at the table together enjoying lunch peacefully! Super welcoming accommodating to my poor Italian with some really fresh great food. Anything orecchiette here is amazing. Also has a good selection of beers a great tiramisu. A restaurant located in the historic center of Grottaglie with a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. The couple who run it are helpful, affable and kind, we really appreciated their professionalism Traditional dishes with attention to preparation and presentation, all at an absolutely honest and accessible price. I'm sorry to have to leave this review. Objectively the place is nice, few seats, I could say welcoming. I was there for dinner this evening, it was recommended to me by friends (who probably don't know what it means to eat well). We took a portion of tuna meatballs (four small meatballs) which were priced on a non-existent menu, the board outside, €12. Then we took, again as a starter, two simple frize, one with tomato and the other with aubergines, again €10. We are talking about two simple frizes, nothing special. Finally, an orecchiette with pistachio and tuna, which I honestly don't know what fits. The tuna could also be fresh, but it was lost on the orecchiette. Here in the south, the orecchiette are the ones that are eaten with sauce. Since there was nothing else on the menu, I wanted to try this new dish, despite my hesitation. Two glasses of wine, discreet, for a total price of €60. Perhaps, in addition to the menu indicating the prices, photos of the portions should also be included. I honestly don't know if this way we don't scare away the tourists. I am very sorry!!!
