Uncle Paul's Pizza - GROSSE POINTE

One of the best pizza places in Detroit, without a doubt. The name "Saucys" is fitting, as their pizza sauce is exceptional.

The only thing worth ordering are the breadsticks. The round lacked any sauce at all—Little Caesar's is definitely a better choice than this.

The BBQ pizza was overwhelmed by the BBQ sauce, making it hard to taste the pineapple or chicken. The bacon pizza was also excessive, with an overload of bacon and a mayo-like sauce. I tried the pickle and dill pizza, but the flavors just didn’t come together for me. Overall, these pizzas felt too rich and dense; the box was dripping with oil and sauce. I hope they find a better balance in the future because I enjoyed the atmosphere and it was my first time trying their pizza.
