Biggby Coffee - Grosse Pointe Woods

Most days of the week I make tea at home (to save a little cash) but when I do treat myself to a Carmel au lait I drive right by Starbucks on my way to Biggby's on Mack. I try to support mom and pops and independents over big corporations. Biggby's is a Michigan based company and that's the next best thing. Hence, once or twice a week I stop into Biggby's where the baristas know my order and prepare it perfectly with a smile. While I never sit to drink my coffee I've noticed that there are a lot of business meetings and people working in the lounge area. I'm not personally a fan of their lounge. It's a little too much like a commuter college class room in my opinion. It isn't clubby and cozy like I like my coffee joints but it's clean and neat. #supportmichiganbuybiggby

Flavored coffee and tea with hidden calories. Abhorring to tea and coffee aficionados. COFFEE it doesn't taste burnt. NOT a Starbucks as coffee roasting isn't burnt. I don't think Biggby is spelled and sounds like Starbucks. Lol. TEA LATTE a good alternative to coffee. The add in of Monin Vanilla Syrup is NOT a tea infusion. To avoid extra calories, please specify to hold off syrup. HARNEY SONS African Autumn Tea flavor is too weak for 2% milk as it is simply steeped with warm milk. With correct preparation, tea flavor shall prevail. Steam Milk Syrup Steamer. VENUE a pleasant comfy space that feels like your living room. TV available.

This biggby is nice and clean. The girl who took my order was nice. She had a bubbly personality. I got the cinnamon roll latte frozen, which was good. I like that this location has lost of windows. Natural light was coming in, and you can look outside. Also sign up for their email always get discounts.

I like the space and service, workers and nice and always smile to me. I like their coffee, even it is not as testy as Starbucks, but i like lt.

Coffee is definitely not as good as Starbucks. Oddly, the Biggby Blend , I believe it 's called whatever their house roast is, is my least favorite, aside from the flavored ones of course. I went with the Black Tan, which is a blend of the house and French, and will probably opt for the French when I go back. Only been there once but the staff was EXTREMELY pleasant and seating is my favorite part very spread out, makes it much more pleasant than others in the area. My biggest gripe maybe just the one time but it was FREEZING. I promise, I 'll still buy your coffee and I 'll camp out no matter what the temp! I 'm still buying your drinks. You don 't need to set the temp to 62 degrees. However Both at the register and the person handing me my coffee made conversation and were very very nice. Also side note I 'm pretty sure it was the manager who I saw training new employees kudos to her. She 's keeping everybody happy and her energy level is sky high. It seems to rub off on everybody working, and even a little on me. She was awesome. Keep up the good work, staff. I 'll be here a lot.
