City Kitchen - Grosse Pointe Park

I called on 5/4 at 5PM to make a reservation for a birthday dinner at 7PM on 5/9. Despite driving 28 miles in rush hour traffic, I arrived to find the restaurant closed. A call to the restaurant revealed that they were closed on 5/9. Upon returning home, I found a voicemail left less than 3 hours before our reservation stating that the restaurant was closed due to staffing issues. We were already on our way. Extremely disappointed.

While a bit on the expensive side, the food and service at this restaurant are top-notch. The service is excellent, with a dine-in option for dinner. The price per person ranges from $30 to $50. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5.

My friends took me there for my birthday celebration. What amazing food,. Our server Steven is top notch ! When I go again,. I will definitely ask for him ! Everything was Perfect. It's a very nice and accommodating spot! Hot food was hot, cold food was cold. The server and host were very attentive and professional. Food was very good in its presentation and taste, although I thought the food could use a bit more salt in general. The octopus was great, as was the scallop special. The girlfriend loved the crab cakes. Prices were on par with a restaurant of this quality. It's definitely worth a try. Service: Dine in
