Przekaż informację zwrotnąHave been ordering from this place for almost 2 years, irritated almost every time since something is always missing, nothing major, a coleslaw, bun etc, but indicator they don't double check orders, frustrating as we actually like Swiss Chalet food. Order tonight on line, receive order confirmation, after an hour and 20 I check to see progress, being prepared, another 10 passes and I check again, no order on file, call the store, no record of order at all, they can process my "new" order but I need to log back in and reorder on the same system that didn't function properly the first time. I'm done.
My wife and I stopped into the Grimsby Swiss Chalet this past Sunday evening. As usual we enjoyed the consistently good food and service. We wish to make special mention of, Myles, our server. This young man is on his game, very attentive and quite personable. We'll be asking for him on our next visit.
Let me first say that I love swiss chalet. However that being said this location left a terrible taste in my mouth. Our waitress was horrible and made no effort to hide that she fid not want to be there. Where to start. After a short wait my daughter and I were seated. Waitress came by and suggested we place our orders immediately to get them in prior to a very large party behind us and so we did so. We waited an exorbitant amount of time during which the large party actually received their apps snd drinks :-/ thenfinally we received our stuffed cheesy garlic loaf which was literally thrown down with the plate clattering on the table and waitress disappeared again without our having a chance to say anything. We looked at our loaf and immediately noticed that it was burnt...even the garlic sauce was black. Let me say that I order this app all the time and this is the first yime I have received it in this condition. Not that it mattered anyway as even if we wanted to eat it we couldn't as we had no plates or cutlery. Waited for over 5 min and finally glimpsed the waitress at this point we had a cold burnt loaf. I got her attention and pointed out that A) we had a burnt loaf and B) even if it hadn't been burnt we couldn't have eaten it without the plates etc. She asked me what I wanted to do and I knew my daughter had been looking forward to it so I asked for another even though it would be arriving during our main meals. Sometime later we got our main meals which had been properly prepared and finally got our cutlery. Once again waitress made no effort to hide her irritation. At that point our drinks were empty but we we're afraid to ask for refills :-/. Half way through our meals the loaf arrived. She dropped it off and disappeared without giving us a chance to ask for refills of drinks as we were becoming quite thirsty at this point. I looked at the loaf snd immediately noticed that although it wasn't bunt it had no garlic sauce on the plate I touched the loaf and it was completely cold...decided to open it up and it wasn't cooked at all. I found the waitress and pointed out that thd loaf hadn't been cooked. Her response was that they didn't want to take the chance that we would complain about burning it again. Really? I have ordered this appetizer countless times and various locations and have never had it delivered burnt or had reason to do anything but compliment them on how good it was. And by the way still no refills on drinks. She took the loaf away and stated that they would remove the charge from our bill making it sound like she was doing me a favour. By this time my daughter and I had had enough of this treatment finished our meals paid the bill and left. If this had been my first time at a swiss chalet it would have been my last. I have never experienced such horrible service. However other locations have always been excellent both in service and food preparation. The only thing that they didn't manage to destroy was the chicken leg dinners we ordered.
Second time we've been disappointed with this service. Approximately 45 minutes late both times.First time, thought it might have been one of those, one time issues.No courtesy phone call or email notification to let you know they will be late.Food as cold as if it has been out on a table for an hour.Felt like like tossing it out, but paid too much. Settled for warming it all up. (Flavour now a disappointment.)Would not recommend this, as this part of the business is not being executed very well, even though the online website is awesome.
I don't believe they cooked it through enough . Please send me 2 free vouchers. I am in Grimsby Ontario . Marlene. 14 Driftwood Court, Grimsby On . L3M4X8 . I will then try it again.
