A place to remember for sure. Hotel room was superb. Staff very friendly. Sitting area in restaurant was little bit too dark but food was delicious. We had the best time ever staff were so welcoming and friendly (they accommodated all needs and requirements). We stayed for 2nights in the penthouse, parents had balcony room and guests had double rooms all were lovely, very clean and tidy. Private dinning for wedding was perfect and made our wedding day that extra special. We and all our guests will be returning. We stayed 2 nights in Bensmoor cottages for our wedding day. The Bensmoor cottages are about a 3 minute walk from the main Smiths building. They have their own parking space 1 x. The rooms are super large and have a kettle, toaster, fridge, bath. My biggest issue was they are super super dark, obviously if you are getting bridal ready tell your MUA they need a ring lamp. The lounge area is separate and very spacious. TV is good, bed was fine, robes and slippers provided. Everything was adequate. I called for ice bucket it came super quick. The room is very good value for money. You go to the main building for breakfast and good choice of both hot and cold buffet, veggie sausages done on request plus theres an extra menu for extra charge. Prices at Smiths bar and restaurant are overcharged.
