Cento - Greshamville

Great food and atmosphere. Our server, Sophie, was super knowledgeable about the wines, and had helpful suggestions for pairing them with entrées. A favorite in downtown Madison!

Always love the ambiance and food at Cento. This time, however, our second dink order was forgotten by the bar/server (not sure which), so we had to ask for them again after 10 minutes of waiting when it wasnt busy. Our waiter comped them, so that was nice. Was also not asked if we needed anything else/were done at end of meal and then were not waited on, but wanted coffee refills. Another waiter happily helped us we asked. Otherwise pleasureable and delicious experience. Overall, I highly recommend Cento!

It was excellent! But I got sick a few hours after. Too fat for my stomach. Please use less oil for the cooking.

We made reservations in advance for our 25th anniversary. However, the first hostess didn't honor our request for a booth. The next hostess, older, told us that she would give us a different table and had to eat and leave in one hour, because this table was already reserved. The hypocrisy!. For the amount we spent on food, I expected it to be better. Mine was extremely salty and my husband's duck was very well done. As a chef, I know that you shouldn't cook duck well/overdone. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because our Waitress was so helpful in answering questions and provided excellent service. At the end of our hour, the older hostess came over and grabbed our dishes and wisked away with food still on my plate. Never asked if I wanted the rest if it. Then dropped off the check and walked away again. If I wanted RUDE service, I'd go elsewhere. NOT RETURNING!

Love the ambience and environment, the decor is lovely. Food is delicious
