Restaurant Polykalo Grenoble

We have come to eat there several times and have always been so well received! a rich and tasty meal, make with good fresh products. Very good wines too! Brief, a very good address, to be recommended!

We were very well welcomed in this small restaurant with a rustic atmosphere. We took a cupidon menu for two as well as red wine from Greece. The entrance was excellent (tzaziki, houmous, caviar of eggplant, tarama, rice in leaves of pita vines). Then comes the mussaka, certainly not very traditional (to beef and county) but very good, followed by a assortment of beef pins, feta and cast tomatoes in a pita. Finally, dessert with rose configuration, confites cherries, sheep's milk yogurt, loukoums, and halva (a Greek nougat spring, which I did not know but that is succulent). We asked for a half bottle of red wine, the boss didn't have it, he billed us a big bottle at the price of the half. In the end, the cupidon menu is very good and well copied. we had a good evening in a nice little restaurant :-)

Very good cooking, unreliable, we forget that we are street thiers ): pleasant atmosphere and tasteful dishes.

The only Greek restaurant of grenoble but which offers dishes far enough from the reality of the country...the mussaka, typical dish of the country only looks very far with those that can be enjoyed there; pis , it is gratinated in the county ! the entries are correct despite all but the card shows some inconsistencies in the explanations of the dishes, notably the souvlaki which is prepared "with the famous pork meat" ! while it is the lamb that is mainly used.Breef, the customers who go to greek after a passage to the polykalo will be well compensated but will not return to this restaurant. The addition is salted, does not match the quality presented.
