Excellent restaurant with a small care server and a chef who comes to greet customers, a calm and pleasant setting or service is pretty quick.
Having discovered this table four years ago, marked by a good memory but without a visit since, we decided to return there on Tuesday evening. The atmosphere of the room is pleasant, with space, volume, even if the renovation has limited itself to a painting, and some paintings to the walls, the style is chic but simple. The welcome is suitable for a restaurant in this range without too much benevolence, however.Peu de monde, certainly on Tuesday evening. The service is attentive, the timing is very correct, we stayed 1h45 for a menu, the flat entry chain was even very fast. We often notice each other, but once again, we left a promising entry to finally be less packed with dishes and desserts. in our selection, 1 menu at 35 and one at 42€. The presentations are not frankly sought and a little rude. the chef abuses the balsamic vinegar cream traits on each plate. The dishes are good, the seasoning well dosed and the successful and mastered cooking, but at the level of tastes, there is not the small sparkle, the surprise that questions and surprises but that we expect a restaurant of this standing. It's okay, but we're still on the impression that we can do this at home. all the more so that the base of accompaniment is the same on our two dishes: polenta qunelle and zucchini flan. The dessert is disappointing, not at the level of previous dishes, and we have a big doubt about the freshness of the red fruit soup, yet it is seasonal, but with tastes reminding too much of the frozen. Moreover, this dessert being already on the map in January (comments and pictures on tripadvisor) comforts this feeling. The more:- the pleasant setting, the masterful cooking of meats/fish, excellent foie gras, quick service less:- lack of surprise on flavors, presentations of dishes, no search for agreement between meat/fish and accompaniments (the same for the 2 dishes), dessertglobally, we expected more surprise in terms of flavors for a map of this level of price. It's good, but other restaurants on grenoble do better on this ratio quality/inventivity/price.Detail of the menus*Choix of the entries:- foie gras duck igp, cooked torchon, served with fig jams, expresso jelly, onion and Armenian dried beef meat shavings (basturms) taste- rotis caille nets nice discovery of the gela of expresso on the foie gras, I knew the chocolate but the coffee works well. The fig is classic, but I didn't understand the association of the onion (not confit) with these beef shavings, good alone but I didn't appreciate it with the foie gras.Cut also perfect for the caille fillets that remained very juicy, but the accompaniment is not at the height of this mastery of cooking.*Choix of the milk-stuffs albacore tuna with positive chorizopoint oil, the plates really come very hot, it is especially for the fish net that cools very quickly. little overcoat for the holy stone, which may have ended its cooking in the plate, it's a shame. the small vegetables consist of some lean beans. The tuna, it, cooked on both sides is perfect. a little too much chorizo oil, with a crushed tomatoes and chorizo pieces scattered all over the plate. Overall it's good, but we wait more on the flavors, it's good but linear, there's no surprise.*Fromage:- white cheese of good quality. small remark, served de facto with cream.* dessert- soup tied with red fruit and pistachio ice-. crunchy chocolate. It's the biggest disappointment. We have the impression of defrosted fruit while it's the season. dessert. The chocolate cake is good, but the level of the one we buy at the pastry shop on Sunday. Once again, it's good but no surprise.

We were greeted by the chef who was very friendly, the service is irreproachable. the dishes carefully presented, are delicious. prices are suitable for quality. we enjoyed everything in this restaurant.MERCI
