This husband and wife run restaurant was a totally amazing experience. The trout was amazing filleted tableside, and my wife who doesn’t care for trout had the Cordon Bleu. The wines were great, the desert, the salads everything you can imagine. I have eaten all over the world and this would clearly be in my top 10 experiences ever! Gorgeous setting on top of it. The pics on TripAdvisor don’t do it justice. Thanks Freddy. Oh and the prices way too low, our dinners, four drinks, dessert and salads came to 42€.

Leave the A1 as you travel between vienna and salzburg and go find this charming, delicious, secret gem of a place. We did just that today, thanks to trip advisor reviews, and were so glad we did. There is no menu written. There is very little choice. It doesnt matter. Get a soup, the fish, and a dessert. And a perfect reasonably priced wine to go with. It was all delightful as was the drive just feet from the Danube to get there. Our last meal in Austria before flying back to the US and we could not have asked for better.

Hi quality fish dinner from nearby river, fantastic service by owner, nice variety of drinks from local beers to French champagne. A real country-side dinning place, peaceful and quiet. Main dish (fish), drinks and desserts where served on time, right temperatures.

Jedesmal ein wirklicher Traum! Nettes Ambiente - Forellen outstanding. Personal sehr zuvorkommend... Auswahl an Weinen vollkommen ausreichend. Wirt ein Genuss

Ob mit Kopf oder ohne Kopf wie man es sich wünsch so bekommt man sie die leckerste Forelle die ich je gegessen habe. Alle sehr freundlich, Bedienung top. Gibt nichts auszusetzen
