The Southern Growl - Greer

The menu is not extensive, but has good Veg / Vegan options, as noted on the menu of a sheet. There is a vegan burger plus options to subdue the other burgers with a vegan burger patty. There is also a vegan sandwich and vegetarian sandwich option (currently a general Tso tofu sandwich and grilled cheese). Most of the appetizer/snack options are vegetarian. In addition to eating, there are many great beer options, most housebow, plus wine, apple wine, Seltzer and cocktail options.

By far, our favorite restaurant! The staff knows us and addresses us by name. We are treated as if we are guests in their home. Carrie and Josh innately know which beers to suggest based on our previous visits and beer selections. The food is outstanding! From the creative selection beer pairing dinners to every day dinners, the food brings us back! Burger Night is worth the hype! What other restaurant changes their menu every 6 weeks? We are so thankful not to have to drive to Greenville to find a great meal and a place where they know us by name. The Southern Growl is quickly becoming the ‘not so hidden’ gem of Greer!

Every time i have i have been to this bar/restaurant i have been blown away. The food is not comparable to anything i have ever had and the beer menu is superb. The only complaint i have is that i cannot bring my puppy dog, but i know they are in the works of getting a larger venue with outdoor seating (which means i can bring puppers). Beer list 5+/Food Quality 5+. #wouldrecommend.

The best food ever!!!! This food belongs in a gourmet restaurant. You will not be disappointed! My husband and I traveled 4.5 hours from Roanoke, VA to indulge ourselves with their great food and drink. We ordered several items and shared them amongst ourselves and some other friends. I strongly suggest doing this so you can taste a various of dishes. It is too hard to pick one entree. Everything is just too, too, too delicious. We can’t wait to return.
