I actually have first hand knowledge about this company. As a chef for a reputable bistro, I can tell you that for the best in seafood delivery, you need to order from here. Everything in their inventory is fresh. No out-dated, cloud-eyed fish here. As far as their delivery guys, (Greenville,SC), FLASH is an awesome fellow! All about getting it to you as soon as you place your order. Professional curtious, fast! If you jabe seafood on your menu, you need to call them !
What a bad service. Calling ahead to reserve doesn't mean anything to them. I always went to a different seafood store, but my friend recommended Gusto. I called yesterday to get sashimi grade fish. David was not nice at all. He said he was busy. He asked if I wanted to order or not. I told him I wanted to order, gave my name, and phone number. He said to pick it up by 3:30. I told him I won't be able to get there until 4 (Google hours say they're open till 5). He said come tomorrow. We were on the way there this morning, and he called and said they don't have tuna today. WHAT. If they had it yesterday, they should have saved it because he told me to come tomorrow. I heard they deal with restaurants so I guess individuals don't really matter.
If you don't own a restaurant, I recommend avoiding this place. I went there a few times years ago, and during my last visit, the owner asked where I used to work. After I told him, he remarked, "there's your fish!" It felt very rude to me, as my previous job had nothing to do with the experience. I haven't returned since then.
