Rice Bistro And Sushi

My girlfriend took me here for lunch (my first time) and it was good. I specially enjoy their bento box of tuna sushi, mix tempura and curry chicken with brown rice. Yum! Service and atmosphere is nice.

Rice Bistro, formerly Lo Coastal Fusion, has a great new Chinese menu. They serve large portions that are resonably priced. They still have sushi but I didn’t see anyone eating it. The shrimp and scallop dish was excellent. Very lightly fried and in a sauce that is hard to describe, but delicious. They have a good wine list and several beers on tap. Very good service and the owner was very visible and approachable to chat with, if you wanted to. It’s easy to get a table now, because it’s new. But that won’t be the case for long.

We have gone to Rice Bistro for many years and never been disappointed with anything. The food is excellent, the atmosphere lovely, great service, and you can actually have a conversation without yelling. We will continue to enjoy Rice Bistro for many years to come

They are going through the motions at Rice. It used to be a great little neighborhood place, but the last few times the food has been only average at best. Today we had a fish dish, but the veggies were plain, no sauce no nothin' and served at room temp as was the rice. Clearly the veggies were microwaved and never saw a wok. The rice was room temp. At an earlier visit, what appeared to be bagged frozen veg were scattered across the entree. This is NOT Asian cooking. Today, the manager tried to help, but if the kitchen doesn't know how to cook Chinese, nothing will help. We are sad that a once serviceable restaurant is taking the easy way out

Moved to Denver from Los Angeles a few years back and was very concerned I wouldnt find a good nearby sushi place. Having discovered this gem I am overjoyed. The head sushi chef is always warm and welcoming. The hot food is good but the sushi is amazing. I highly recommend the salmon belly, wasabi creme roll, and the gabby roll, but its all going to be excellent. Pricing is good as well
