My family orders Chinese take-out probably once a month and always from Egg Roll #1.
Always fresh always good. Fast and friendly. Our family comes here twice a week. We love it!!!
This place is busy at noon. We stopped visiting Greenwood for the TA reviews. When we came there at 11:15, there was another person in the restaurant. About 15-20 minutes later, the crowd started rolling. This place is popular. This is likely because the menu is exhausting, the prices are good and the service is good. We ate in the clean restaurant. Our food came within minutes of the order at the counter. I got the almond chicken and my husband got the brown chicken. Both came with fried rice and an egg roll. Very cheap and portion sizes were just as good. I saw no reason to give it less than four stars. But I didn't give him five because the fried rice was just ok and the plastic essutensiles were very flimsy.
So I usually go to Egg Roll Number 1 from Emerson and let me tell you they're not connected. No Vietnamese menu. This place is your entire Chinese food in America. For about $7 lunch you will get a duck, soup, egg roll and fried rice. You can't beat the price! I had chickens and corn in a clear sauce. I love corn and wanted to see what it was about. It was what it said, chicken and corn with bamboo shoot in white clear sauce. Nothing exciting or special about it. Flavoring was okay. My husband got Hunan beef and it was above average compared to other fast food places. The taste was very tasteful and the beef was tender and juicy. Customer service was friendly and fast. Lunch is served until 2:30 and they were very punctual when the lunch menu ended. The place was clean and very welcoming. I would definitely go back:
