I have always said that if you aren't making enough money on your food, raise prices DON'T CUT THE VALUE. Capri's has steadily gone down hill for the past few years. I can't prove it, but the entree's appear to have been frozen and reheated. The quality is fairly good, but the quantity is 25% of what they used to be and what good Italian restaurants in other cities are now. I might pay more for Veal Parmigiana in Greenville, but I don't go home hungry. One of the worst meals that I have ever had was one described in the menu as being covered with Pesto. The Pesto dear friends was made with dried parsley. On another occasion I had a New York Strip that had an inch of fat embedded in the center...
We ordered the Ribeye Steak sandwich, lasagna and chicken strips. The ribeye was dry, seasoned, and the bread was roasted too hard. The cheese on top and throughout the lasagna was not completely cooked. I had to put the lasagna in the oven when I came home. The Lasgna was still very sour and greasy as the chicken strips and homemade honeymast were edible. The fries that came with this duck were burned hard! My son couldn't even eat one of them. We eat cereal for dinner. This is my second time when I try this restaurant and for the second time I am not satisfied.
Cute and cozy inside. Pasta is slightly over cooked.
In town on Bussiness and Capri's is a regular stopping point. Dinner was excellent and of course far me than I can eat. Service was and is always exceptional. I will be back. The prices are incredibly wallet friendly.
