Loves eating here, espcially the special roasted rice with some hoi sin sauce. amazing!

The staff were polite and attentive. The food regrettably very poor; to the point of blandness. A shame as Blackheath as a whole would welcome a decent Chinese Restaurant.

Got food poisoning..... Parts of the dish was very cold as if it was frozen. The food is quite bland and does not reflect true Chinese food. Just fit for the English pallet..... The whole family was sick including guest who flew back to NY... Not impressed....

I am a regular diner at Sun Ya. I have always been greeted with friendly, happy, attentive staff. The food is always amazing I would definitely recommend you try this restsurant

Came across this restaurant while going home from Woolwich. Decided to order some takeout. The service was good. The attendant was chatty and helpful. Ordered special fried rice with prawns in sweet and sour sauce. But my partner’s order was mixed up somehow (might have been our fault). The food was okay. The sauce had this strong smell of something. I bet the culprit is one of the following listed on their allergy notice (sulphur dioxide, sulphites lupins). The rice was good. The chicken was a bit too oily. The meal also came with prawn crackers and fortune cookies of course. Might go again just for the rice.
