Peter De Wit's Cafe - Greenwich

My sister and I wanted somewhere for breakfast. We specifically didn't want to support one of the chain cafes in Greenwich. This little gem was perfect. Polite,attentive and friendly staff. Tea and Marmite on toast £4.50. Hit the spot

A lovely, no-frills cafe with a tiny but charming back terrace. Simple food, really worth a visit, sadly not around for much longer.

This is a nice little cafe off the beaten path in Greenwich. We had tea and scones in their very small outdoor patio and it was a cool shady spot on a very hot day. The food was very nice.

It was quiet in the cafe, cold out but with a whiff of spring so glad to get in the warm for a lovely full English breakfast. Just the right amount and cooked to perfection. I had some work to do and was left alone to crack on, but when I was done and on my second pot of tea with lemon cake, I had such a lovely chat with the owner, so welcoming and worldly wise!I am often in Greenwich and will be heading straight here when I'm next in town for food and a chat!
