Local Cue Sports - Greenville

I received a warm welcome from Nate when I visited Greenville for my birthday celebration with my family. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the excessive saltiness of the chili brisket soup, the collard greens, and, most surprisingly, the homemade ranch dressing. It was disheartening that every dish had this issue. We tried to be polite and ended up throwing the takeout in the garbage, as it was simply too salty to be a one-off mistake.

The locals don’t frequent this place often, but I come by once a year or so to hang out and play games with friends. While the board games, pool tables, and darts are in poor condition, you can usually find enough decent options to enjoy a game. The atmosphere can be a bit rough at times, and it often feels like a last resort for a night out.

Local Cue consistently delivers a great experience. While the service on the bar side can be a bit slow at times, it's understandable in a team service setup. There are plenty of board games available, which adds to the fun! I always enjoy my time here, but to be honest, the standout feature is definitely the food. I would describe it as elevated bar fare. You absolutely must try the smoked wings—they're incredible! I’m on the lookout for even better wings in the area.

Absolutely impressed! Saturday night. Packed house. Sa back and we were immediately greeted with a smile. The waitress took our order and the drinks were sitting down at the table within 5 minutes. We ordered and impressed the chicken wings. The wings were perfectly seasoned and juicy, bursting with taste. The waiting staff constantly circled around the facility and asked every table when they needed something. The service was absolutely stellar. We were very impressed that the place was PACKED. The drinks and wings were very good. We will definitely return!! Thanks again!

Really enjoyed every aspect of the dinner. Prompt, friendly, patient informative server. Fresh and great tasting food (catfish, collard greens, grits, pulled pork, slaw and beer). Lots of space. Fun environment. Absolutely will return.
