Gus Streetside Cafe - Greenville

Food here is really good. The only complaint I have is that it smelled a little like cigarette smoke and maybe needs a good deep cleaning- but wasn't gross or anything. Good service.

We absolutely love Gus's! We go at least once a week. You can't beat the delicious home cooking for the price. The staff is warm, friendly and if you come in regularly like us, they almost start to feel like family. Have never had a negative experience here in all of the years we've been going.

The food tasted ... old. Not fresh. Hamburger seemed to be loaded with fillers. Turkey and gravy with stuffing was little turkey LOTS of stuffing. Food was luke warm... coffer was too. Coffee was almost burnt tasting. Nothing was a positive in this visit. Absolutely would not go back.

Ate there sunday,1-17-16. Had turkey and dressing. The dressing was not cooked, tasted like water in it. The turkey or whatever it was was all dark meat with grissels in it. That's the second time it was like that so I have learned my lesson and won't go there again and won't recommend it to anyone. Dee Ellis

Stopped by on Sunday between the 10am church and the 11am one. Looks like the first crowd left and the second one right behind us. Seating was slow probably because they thought we were part of the checkout line. Bathrooms clean looking but smelled like the crowd just went through. Service fast and friendly. Excellent! Prices cheap. Choices of 6 meats/entrées with 3 veggies was $7.60. With 2 was 7.10 and also had one. We both had turkey and stuffing. Definitely real but nearly all dark meat. My side cucumber salad and sweet potato wedges were excellent as were her green beans. Her mashed potatoes tasted packaged. Overall great service and prices but entrées average and place needs work.
