Gringos Cantina - Greenville

A friend and I Drive by and went there expecting a typical Mexican restaurant experience. This place is is more American and more expensive. The place was empty but hot. They're war a sign outside encouraging guests to sit upstairs outside but it was too hot for that. Our service was okay and the food was okay but not what we expected and definitely not what we expected to pay. Here's a photo of both the chicken and beef taco salad.

AVOID. The salsa tastes like watery tomato sauce. The server didn't even clean the table of dirty dishes and food from previous guests. We ordered queso and it never arrived yet they tried to charge us for it. Service was almost non-existent. Other people were getting up and leaving as well. Taco Bell is a better option.

Sick and tired of customers throwing beer bottles off the back, outdoor deck area to hit the building overlooking the alleyway outside Pour. I can't begin to tell you how many times I've almost been hit. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN. It's a stain on downtown GVL.

The owner response to this review is a lie, as my friend and I didn't attempt to order drinks when we dined here. The owner must have looked me up to find some personal information about me in an attempt to negate the merit of my review. I never met or interacted with anyone other than the host and waitress when I dined here. Originally, this review was about terrible food and worse service, but the owner lying about me being intoxicated where people can see my first and last name is very upsetting. Hopefully things have changed since I went here, but I would not recommend coming here after my dining experience or being lied about. Original Review: I’d skip this place if I were you. Other Mexican places very close by. Service is bad and food is worse.
