Chophouse '47 - Greenville

This is not a salad. It was a surprise though. Food was good overall. I have had steak that 's better. That 's not to say this steak wasn 't good, only that I wouldn 't personally go here if looking for the best steak. The crab appetizers were great. The potatoes and cheese was great. Service was great as well. The place needs a little more light inside though.

My first time having dinner at a Chophouse. The facility was very clean, older decor style and low lighting. Their wine room was beautiful. Service was great (John), the waiter was very friendly and made suggestions. The food presentation and flavor was on point.

Upon entering you get the upscale setting that you would expect dim lights huddled conversation light music playing in the background. I was surprised to see paper On each of the tables On top of the table cloth. The salad The blue cheese dressing had a wonderful subtle flavor. And one salad was plenty big to split between 2 people. There was a mix up with our order sorder so we received our brussel sprouts and one steak and they brought the wrong cut out for the 2nd Steak. They kept my companion's steak hot While my steak finished cooking. They also brought us a second fresh side of brussel sprouts out free of charge. The steak had a char on topAnd was cooked perfectly. They lean on the char for flavor more than seasoningSo make sure you prefer thatStyle of flavoring if you go to this restaurant. The overall experience was OK We ended up spending $240 on 2 steaks A glass of wine and a cocktail, a side of brussel sprouts and a wedge salad. Came in a 20-minute communication with my brother, and they snore a reservation, no problem! It was the first time to try the Chophouse for both of us. Wow, what can I say... the food was phenomenal, the attitude was beautiful and secluded. I can't believe how good the steak tasted compared to everywhere I enjoyed steaks here in Greenville! One I ate some places here in the Upstate! 5-star experience. If you've never eaten here, don't even ask. You know, it's great!

It was really a culinary experience. I ordered the 3lb lobster. It came out sizzling and they created it table side, plated and placed it in front of me. It was cooked for perfection. (Although a little under seasoned) we also ordered the Rockefeller Oysters they were also delicious and well flavored. My spouse ordered the Delmonico it was also delicious. Thank you for a great culinary experience. I recommend you all check a coat. We'll see you again.
