My wife and I. We love going there. We go there at least two or three times a month. The people are really nice. The prices are fair. I like their jello but don't tell everybody because it may not be enough. My wife she likes the corner on the cob whenever it's there. Good food, good peopleFood: 4/5

Hands down, the BEST place to eat in Greenville. It's not fancy by any means, but you will get the best home cooked meal ever here. I've been coming to S S since I was a child, well over 25 years. Now, I bring my husband daughter with me they love it too!The country steak with rice and gravy is my favorite entrée paired with squash casserole a roll. Their fried clam strips are also a go-to. They have great cheap kid meal choices, which include jello!!You won't be disappointed!

I want to start out, by saying I’ve been coming here for years. The staff on the line are always friendly, professional as well as the servers. I took my elderly mother to eat there today for lunch. Got the fried pork chop (which was good) until I realized it alone was like 8.50. I got a salad which was so drowned in dressing I couldn’t eat it (they don’t offer chopped egg anymore, because they said the costs of eggs is too high) I think they need to reevaluate that, as they have come down. I got mashed potatoes, roll, tea, mine was like 18.50 or close to that. My mom got fried chicken which was so dry she couldn’t eat, they want nearly 6.00 just for that, green beans, macaroni salad, strawberry shortcake, tea and it ended up being a little over 33.00 before tip which made it 40.00 for lunch. I understand prices going up, but this is highway robbery for the food not to be as good as it normally is. Another couple next to us was complaining today about it as well.

My daughter and I stopped here for lunch. We also brought my grandson who is in a car seat. The staff were very helpful getting us seated and carrying our food to the table. I had tilapia, green beans and squash casserole. They were all delicious. All the food options were fresh and look delicious. Carry out is available as well as delivery from GrubHub. They have a spacious dining room and very attentive and helpful servers. They have lots of varieties of vegetables and desserts as well as seafood, pork, beef and chicken.
