Really unique experience. that was my first time I had eaten Ethiopian food. I wasn't disappointed. I propose to get one of the meat combs when it is her first time to get a sample of the different dishes.
I took the Veg tablet for 2 and took it home to share with my mom. it was fantastic. we don't like spicy food, so there was one spoon or two left of the red lenses, but my bunt was so happy and full! the brot was better than most just one hauch acid, a little thicker than what I do to house, but that means that it stayed better together.
When we came in, nobody was there to welcome us. we waited and someone finally came up and sat down. we were not provided menus, but we were told that the waitress would be right with us. five minutes later we get water. waiting and someone asks if the waitress stopped, we said no and she tells us the waitress went home and she would help us. the owner comes to take our order after another long waiting period and then realizes that we don't have menus and then we'll leave. the woman who served us was also the cook. our eating was cold and the waitress told us it was supposed to be cool. I understand that the inerja raumtemp was, but everything was cold. the eating lacked salt and then the portions were not worth the 16.$ the chicken breast was dry. the best for us was the sambusa and the lenses, although the lenses also lacked salt. the waitress who helped us was very beginning and honest and we liked them, but the whole experience was not more fun. when we were asked for two more orders from the sambusa, we received one and said that they would close soon and no longer sat a few; it closed at 10 and it was 850 when we asked.
This was my very first time trying Ethiopian food and I want to say it was a good experience, but need less to say it was not. I was over charged for kids sizes portions of food. Paid $180 for a small amount of food. It took them forever to prepare what appeared to be canned vegetables. The items that were prepared from scratch were actually pretty good, but the prices don't make since for what they're offering. I'm highly disappointed with this establishment. The staff was very helpful and professional, but the service is a waste without a quality product. I do not recommend.
