Southern Roots - Greensboro

The ambiance is modern and chic, with the entrance located at the back of the building rather than off the main road. Like many restaurants in the area, parking can be a bit of a challenge. However, there is overflow parking available at the back, and the walk to the restaurant is just about a minute—though it might feel longer during peak evening hours. Despite the parking situation, I highly recommend giving this gem a try!

This place has never let me down. The food is consistently excellent, and the timing is always right. The atmosphere is beautifully inviting. During my recent visit, it was a bit crowded, but I would still suggest sitting outside if the weather permits. The servers are friendly and knowledgeable, making it easier to choose from the many wonderful options available. A quick note: you can't make a bad decision here. I’ve attached a photo of the seafood risotto, which was outstanding. I can't say enough positive things about this restaurant. I highly recommend it!

I have to say I'm really impressed! I was looking for a place to celebrate a friend's birthday, and we ended up sitting by the bar. The customer service was excellent, and the food was even better. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and everything was very affordable. Some of the review pictures don't truly capture the quality of the food. I nearly tripped over a piece of jewelry! Southern Roots was amazing, and I can't wait to return.

If in the city southern roots is our fix for tasty home kitchen. the personal and eating are always top notch.

The food and service were exemplary. We had the seafood risotto and the pulled pork plate. Finished it off with Jack Daniels bread pudding and Godiva chocolate mousse pie. All were absolutely excellent!
