Homeslice Pizza Cardinal Crossing

The first time to eat there and the pizza was NY style in ya face good! I would normally make a picture, but at the first bite it was all she wrote! I'm back!

Great casual place for a piece of pizza. Earlier came here when Burke St Pizza was, so I was skeptical to try this place, but glad I did. 2 discs and a drink is at $9. There are a few things that don't let me visit more often. The stands and/or tables are always dirty. Every time I visit, I am usually the only customer in which I always find at least 2 tables to find a cleaner. The floor is sticky and its beverage machine always has problems. Either the soda is watered (Pepsi is clear) and the sweet tea will be empty. I had to ask that my disks be heated more on two occasions.

Excellent food. Pizza through the slice, and the slices are nice big, not 1/4 slices like some other local pizza spots. A decent atmosphere, covered, a few TVs with sports/news. The pepperoni disc is brilliant, they have ground parmesan on the table, red pepper flakes on the table, and if they are not on the table, a 30 second walk and will ask to fix this. Make yourself a favor and have the pizza balls, crispy outside with chewing pepperoni, and gooey cheese in the middle. For a casual lunch, dinner or take home, this is a great place to begin.

Homeslice is one of the best pizzeria style restaurants this far south of NYC! I have eaten here many times, and they NEVER disappoint!! The portions are very generous; and the food is always hot and tasty. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is clean. Personal favorites are (of course) the pizza; meatball subs, the (massive)buffalo wings, and, what I think, are the best garlic knots I 've ever had. Tonight I brought a friend who 'd never experienced Homeslice; I had 10 jumbo buffalo wings (hot honey sauce) and a slice of Hawaiian pizza, she had a 'small ' steak cheese stromboli...we both left full and happy!

We frequent this restaurant probably way to often. Reason being is the ease of ordering on the website and quality of the food. We love their salads. They are huge. The are usually lunch the next day. The pizza has always been good in my humble opinion. We haven?t tried any of the fancy ones. Just cheese and pepperoni, and have been satisfied every time. The wings and pizza balls are also worthy of a try!
