Staff are very friendly and polite, unexpected for an Italian market, sandwiches are loaded with meat and cheese and packed with a bread with a little crispy. I personally like my sandwiches with soft bread. We also have the filled zucchini blossoms, and they were delicious! They were just served at room pace after sitting on the counter, so it was a bit questionable. Overall, not perfect, but very unique and worth a try.
I wish I could give 10/5 stars! Everyone knows that food is fresh and authentic, but have you met the staff? I came so fresh for some fresh calf cuts, homemade pasta and mozzarella that it will bring tears into my eyes, but I left with all the PLUS three new friends! Nick, Anthony and Gina are incredibly helpful, friendly, generous, knowledgeable, fun, energetic and an absolute pleasure to do with whom business! New phrase: (acronym) GG!!!! GET GIACOMO's!!
Authentic, good smell and good tasting. Service was great. It's a bit expensive, but it's worth it. Big portions and did I mention the taste? Do you think I won? Forget it!
We're new to the city and someone suggested to come here and I'm glad they did. Everything is top notch to taste. The staff is very pleasant and the smells are even better!
Great Italian market and sandwich shoppe. Locally made sausages and other meats, be prepared to wait for any of the aged meats, as excellence has to be given time BUT, well worth the wait time for a hand made, shop cured salami, look at the rafters when you walk in if you need a visual on what I mean! The mild, hot and sweet sausages go quickly some days, so if you plan to get fresh made, show up earlier in the day, or you may not find any left. The Traditional Italian side dishes and sandwiches are great, and did not skimp on the good stuff. Make sure to say hello to Giacomo if he is behind the counter. There is also an assortment of imported European kitchen materials to help you add to the sausages you take home to cook up. Bonus, if you grill the hot Italian sausages, and slice them thin, they make a great addition to a spaghetti sauce (the makings of which can usually be found on the shelves at Giacomos). The mild Italian sausages grilled make for a great change up for hot dog nights.
