It makes me feel good and is a big part of why I make DD a daily stop 364 day's a year for the past 6/7 yrs. Most of all the coffee is excellent sooo much better than Starbucks.
I came in yesterday morning at 8 a.m. and was told by the cashier that 'the sandwich sation is closed ' I was quite upset. How does the sandwich station close at the peak of breakfast rush? So I sent an email to their corporate offices to let them know about my poor experience. They jumped on it quick! I was contacted today by the General Manager Mr. Wayne Banks, and he offered a sincere apology and told me he would address the matter with the individual working that morning. He also told me to come back in and he 'd give me a free breakfast sandwich. When I arrived, he went above and beyond to make sure I left completely satisfied and apologized again for my previous experience. I am so impressed with the swift response and since gesture to show me that my business is appreciated. There are very few companies or individuals today who exhibit this level of customer appreciation. Thank you Mr. Banks, I will be back in the future!
