Bill's Pizza Pub - Greensboro

When I arrived to pick up my order, the young woman at the counter took a few moments to find my pizza and even asked how to spell my name. Since this was a phone order, I assumed they would have it on record, but I had to spell "Dino" for her. Thankfully, the manager was able to locate it quickly after that. Upon bringing the pizza home, it smelled great, reminiscent of what you might find at a pizza pub. However, the taste was just average. To make matters worse, the box and the paper inside were soaked in grease to the point where it was coming through the box. The crust was practically non-existent, resembling a piece of cardboard. Overall, I was very disappointed with the experience.

The best pizza, hands down! I highly recommend the Pub Special. It's one of the rare places that has consistently maintained the quality of its ingredients and has become a staple in North Carolina. The salads are fantastic too, with generous toppings. The drive to get here is always worth it!

Always delicious and indulgent! The thin crust is generously topped, making it impossible to finish in one sitting. Since it's so heavily loaded, it can get soggy and stick to the box, so I recommend placing wax paper underneath if you plan to save it for breakfast the next day. We usually order the pub special, leaving out the green peppers and adding jalapeños instead. We prefer takeout, as other reviews suggest the dining experience isn't particularly upscale. However, the takeout service is always spot on and incredibly fast. If you love more toppings than crust, this is the best pizza in town!

This is our must visit pizza spot when stacked in greensboro N.C. thin crust toppings and the personal is always friendly. we always get the pub special well made chest and today I also have a side salad. delicious!

A beloved pizza place that has been here since 1969! her pizza is over delicious and loaded with beats! I never got a pizza from here that I don’t love! bill’s pizza is a tradition for many who grew up here.
