Late night bar with awesome wings. They are cooked to order so they are always fresh. There is a DJ at night and the staff is attentive. Can't wait to come back my next visit home. Only issue I had in the beginning was the fact that parking is so limited due to it being in the same parking lot as a gas station. (You can't use the spots that are clearly for the station. Parking: I suggest you get there early for decent parking. Kid-friendliness: I am unsure if this spot is open during the day but at night I know it's not for children.

First time giving them a chance it wasn’t worth it. How I spend $50 my order all wrong AND ain’t nobody in there. Paid for two sides only got one on both entrees not even the sides I ordered. I don’t even eat okra. Smfh.

Since i have moved here in 2017 Gate City has become my favorite environment to be in. The staff is friendly and the food is amazing. They have different themes for some nights like the video i posted of karaoke night and the price of the drinks are decent and you will always have a great time when DJ Rio is on the ones and two's. Overall the heart of Greensboro's good time!!

Gate City Tavern never disappoints! First time I went was on my bday last year and they were doing Karaoke ?, LOVED IT! Plus they have sensible food options and prices! I did the $2 fish Tuesday and lost my mind!

I ordered via door dash for the first time today. I had fried Whiting, mac cheese, yams, and collard greens that were among the best food I have ever eaten. Food is packed neatly and separately without spilling over. I will definitely order again in the near future.
