Greenport Creamery

Flavors were good, particularly the strawberry and cherry vanilla. The portions were pretty small for the price, and the service was a bit disorganized

I have been looking forward to trying this creamery for a long time because it made several lists of top ice cream places on Long Island. I visited Greenport last November and the creamery had closed for the winter. I finally made my way back to Greenport and was very disappointed by this ice cream. I ordered a double in a cup with cookie madness and birthday cake. Both were flavorless. The worst birthday cake ice cream that I have ever tried. Store bought has more flavor. Cookie madness had zero base flavor the only enjoyment came from the mini m&ms, which I could have just bought from Target. It is clear that the recipe is too milk heavy. For $7 for two scoops, the scoops were not generous. The parlor itself also lacked character. I only gave it two stars for the creativity of some of the flavors and the fact that the ice cream was not gummy (a common flaw of bad homemade ice cream).

The service was incredibly helpful and friendly. I had the watermelon sorbet, and it was absolutely delicious!

The best ice cream I've ever tasted! It was incredibly creamy and delicious. The staff was exceptionally kind and friendly as well. They even went out of their way to ask if our dog would like a pup cup, which was really thoughtful! The service was also quick and efficient. I wouldn't miss this place—it's definitely worth a visit!

The only thing worse than the ice cream here are the signs in the restaurant. Whatever you do, avoid starting in line 1!
