The Old New England Seafood Boathouse is a charming clam shack-style restaurant featuring a lovely deck with a view of the inlet. The seafood offered is solid and satisfying, though you should anticipate a wait for seating on the deck. Prices are somewhat above average, but the experience is worth it.

As a lifelong resident, it's hard not to be familiar with this place. Their lobster rolls are incredible, and they offer a variety of delicious chowders to choose from. It’s a seasonal spot, typically closing around late October to early November. On a recent visit, I brought a friend along and we both ordered the lobster chowder, which was fantastic. My friend mentioned that the lobster meat was a bit cold (some people prefer it that way), but it was no issue; they quickly reheated the chowder and all was well within minutes. The amount of lobster chunks in the chowder is astonishing—seriously, your eyes will pop out! My friend, a devoted foodie for nearly fifty years, remarked that he had never seen so much lobster in a chowder before. It's tough to find anywhere else that offers as much lobster meat as Geno's does in their chowder. The lobster rolls are excellent too, with the option of drawn butter or mayonnaise. I've tried various items on the menu, and all have been delicious. Don’t miss out on the incredible desserts either; I highly recommend the strawberry rhubarb pie with ice cream on the side! As of Summer 2020, it’s best to call ahead for reservations, but they usually accommodate you pretty quickly.

Each time I have visited, it has been a truly wonderful experience. I absolutely love the lobster boil with steamers, and the view is incredible. This place is definitely a gem!

We dined on the patio with a beautiful view of Sagamore Creek. Our clam chowder and haddock were delicious! We had an overall great experience. The only demerit is we felt rushed to leave by the wait staff.

First time visitors very nice! Very creamy tasty clam chowder. Delicious clams lobster scallops. Nice view of the water. Tables inside out are properly spaced masks required. Great service!
