So, my husband and I stayed at the General Morgan Inn and met a friend we haven't seen in years. We invited her to dinner at Brumley's. Both my husband and my friend ordered burgers, I am gluten free so I went with the rack of lamb. The lamb came out very undercooked. I am used to ordering lamb and understand that it should be pink. This was actually still cold in the center. I sent it back and whn it returned I realize d that it was not much better. For 44 dollars I would expect a good cut and properly done. There was literally a tablespoon of meat to each piece, the rest was fat and a bit raw. My husband and friend also said that the burgers they ordered were not very good either. The worst part was that 30 mins after eating the lamb I became ill. The restaurant was closed so I was not able to tell them and we had to leave early the next morning. I would caution ordering any meat that needs to be cooked properly. The worst thing in the world is to be on a trip and have to deal with a sick stomach for several days after an expensive meal. Not worth the money.
