The Walnut Room At Northland

The service was great but the food was not worth the price in my opinion. $180 (including tip) for 2 steaks and 2 cocktails that we could have made ourselves at home for 1/4 of the price.

Outstanding restaurant in gorgeous historical hotel. Restaurant is beautiful with calming colors that accent the walnut walls. Staff were superb! Service, food and drinks were outstanding and deserving of the price. Our family of four enjoyed our dinner celebrating our daughter's birthday. The bartender crafted her a beautiful n/a drink. The bourbon margaritas offer a fresh twist. The table bread with strawberry butter is heavenly. We also enjoyed the elk roast, mushroom wellington and a T-bone. Beautiful presentation, melt in your mouth taste, it was superb. Our server was friendly, funny and professional. We intend to visit again, the building is beautiful. We took a walk through the hotel after dinner. Thank you to all of the staff for being fantastic at what they do!

Excellent food and service. We had the petite filet and t-bone. Both cooked perfectly. Sides were delicious. I will go back when in the area again.

Amazing food and drinks in an elegant space. The fish en papillote was incredible, as were all of the 4 side dishes we shared. The Baked Alaska for dessert was a special treat to capstone a great meal. 10/10 recommend.

They don't deserve the 1 star minimum required here. We had a reservation. The restaurant was not busy, especially for night before a Packers game. We waited over 45 minutes for appetizers. After another hour we inquired about our food. the food came out a few minutes later. 3 steaks and an order of lamb chops. These items were barely seared outside and completely raw all the way through (cold to touch). All the dishes were ordered medium, medium well, or well done. My daughter in law actually expressed to the server upon ordering that her steak needed to be well done due to the fact that she is pregnant. After receiving the table full of raw meat, we asked the waitress for our check for our cocktails and appetizers and explained we were leaving. The manager did come over and comp the few thing we had, gave a half a... apology. Problem is we had wasted our night at this restaurant. Now being 9:50 PM (Green Bay pretty much shuts down at 10 PM with exception of the bars) we found ourselves speeding across town to get to Culvers before they closed at 10:00.
