Golden Palace - Greater Sudbury

I visited the restaurant for dinner yesterday for the first time. Although the buffet wasn’t available, which we were aware of, we decided to order from the menu instead. The food was excellent—well-seasoned without being overly salty, and the dishes were hearty and generous with meat. The atmosphere was peaceful, making it perfect for chatting with friends, and the owners were incredibly friendly. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. We’ll definitely be back!

This restaurant might be slightly pricier than other Chinese eateries, but we've consistently had excellent experiences with their takeout. Everything we've ordered has been delicious and tastes freshly prepared. A nice added benefit is the containers they provide for your food; they're very reusable and perfect for packing lunches or freezing leftovers.

The standout feature of this restaurant is its distinct menu, which sets it apart from the other smaller buffets in town. While there weren't many diners present, it appeared that a significant number of takeout and pickup orders were being placed, especially with a 10% discount on such orders. Although it is a relatively small buffet, I sampled most of the dishes available. I was pleased to find that the vegetables in all the meals were fresh. The rice and fried noodles were cooked to perfection, without any unpleasant tastes or hints of old oil. Overall, if you're in the mood for takeout Chinese, I recommend giving this place a try—they even have an online menu. However, the dessert bar could use some improvement. In conclusion, it’s definitely worth visiting just to see how it compares to your current favorite spot.

The food here is fantastic and doesn’t leave you feeling greasy. They even had "Home Alone" playing, making it a perfect dinner-and-a-movie experience! I can confidently say it's the best Chinese food I've had in Ontario. The dinner buffet is definitely worth the $22. Plus, the tea is lovely, and the coffee is delightful. Thank you!

Best place ever wonton is so good, unmatched by anyone. I once ate two whole boxes of their wonton, so so delicious. I long to taste it in my mouth again.
