Rotti Chennai - Greater Dandenong

I took my family here for dinner and the food was fantastic. I do not know about the non-vege items but all my family enjoyed the vege kotthu rotti, idiaappa kotthu and fried rice with soy curry. The food was more than enough and the owner helped to pack the balance food to take home. The price was reasonable. The waiting time was a bit more but we were told about that while ordering.The taste of the kotthu rotti which I enjoyed at a place called Hatton in Sri Lanka many years ago is still in my memory and I have the same feeling about the wonderful taste again.

Delicious rotti bread meal with lamb great quality for low cost. spicy thali with egg rotti yummy!!!

Love the unpretentious sincere service. Delicious murtabak. Every effort made to cater for my requirements. Very good value.

Easy to find restaurant, has 2 tables in the restaurant (they cater more for takeaway), clean and bright. Our lovely hosts serve many dishes including many vegetarian dishes (which we opt for with no onion/garlic too). We tried the beautifully cooked vegetarian Murtabak, plain dosa with cheese & spinach, dhal curry, eggplant & potato curry.Totally felt the warmth of the host (Vathana) and how she enjoys cooking nice food!Please note : Monday & Tuesday Closed, Wed, Thursday, Friday & Saturday 11-2PM, 5-7PMSunday 9AM to 2PM

Place is small and targeted mainly at takeout customers. It is kept very clean and is nicely decorated. The food is very good, way above aberage for these kond of places. If you like Sri Lankan and South Indian food, this is probably the place to get it in Dandenong North.
