Przekaż informację zwrotnąThere is a restaurant named "Lisbon" in Great Yarmouth that serves Portuguese cuisine. During our visit at lunchtime, it seemed that most of the patrons were Portuguese speakers. We were the only ones not conversing in Portuguese. After observing a family's meal, we decided to order the same dish. Our server was calm and collected as they brought us large plates of green beans in a red sauce with chunks of chouriço. This dish paired nicely with a bottle of Borba, a lively red wine from the Alentejo region. The meal was hearty and could be considered comfort food. I had forgotten that Portuguese portions are generous, as I ordered a "dose" when I should have opted for a "meia dose". They graciously provided us with a takeout container without hesitation. The restaurant's specialties include Portuguese seafood dishes, steaks, and pork. It's advisable to check the portion size before ordering. For those interested in trying to recreate the green beans dish at home, a recipe link is provided from Canada.
