Fishermans Return - Great Yarmouth

We've been coming to this pub for 20 years and it's never failed to deliver. the atmosphere is so welcoming, the dogs have always made a damp and eating is exceptional. yes, if they are busy (as it was about Christmas/New Year) can eat time to come, but the personal always explains the waiting time when it is ordered and often comes earlier than their conservative estimate. can't evaluate it high enough and hopefully we will continue to enjoy their hospitable for another 20 years.

Come to Norfolk every summer on holiday and this is the best pub there I have been too! The food is top notch here and staff are so friendly! good vibes all round!

We have just returned from a fabulous time in winterton on the sea, we regularly visit the return of the fisherman and have no reason to complain at all, the greeting and atmosphere is always excellent and the eating amazing, which has improved lately, if that was possible, as I think there is a new cook. beautiful, max behind the bar to see. the barbarians make you like a native. it is a shame that not everyone gets this place when they are looking for a place to relax and eat good and enjoy good company, then please visit and see them themselves. if they prefer cheap pub grub in a soul less pub then please visit hemsby, as this is not the place for them. we recommend ourselves as usual and will continue to do so.

Had cajun salmon in tortilla bowl nabeby had boozy bark cake. great portions. great dog friendly pub. friendly staff. will definitely be back. eat excellent. highly recommended

Very friendly staff, very friendly attentive. always eat hot enough! puds fantastic. recommend this pub to anyone who has the opportunity to visit winterton on the sea.
