Applebee's Grill - Great Wood

Restaurant was very clean, atmosphere was great. The hostess had a great personality which is a huge plus. And even though I was dining alone, she sat me at a full sized booth instead of trying to usher me to the bar or put me at a small cramped table. I had the Bourbon Chicken and Shrimp. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. I'll definitely return.

So I’m not from this area and decided to come here by myself before heading over to an appointment. (03/22/24 3:15pm). When I walked in the gentleman that greeted me was very nice and a made a joke that made me laugh when asked about the bathroom. I went to sit at the bar. The bartender girl, was alright. She asked me what I would like to drink, I told her a Pepsi. She was gone for a while after that and then came and took my order. The gentleman that greeted me at the door was the one that brought out my food and asked if I needed anything else. I was good. The entire time I ate my meal, the girl never once checked on me, “how is everything?” “Would you like a refill?” Nothing…. Meanwhile the two gentlemen sitting there were made sure to be taken care of. Only after I had finished my meal that the empty plate had been sitting there for about 10 minutes did she come over and ask how I was. She didn’t bother to ask if I wanted a refill, she just turned and printed out my check and walked away. I put my card out and she came over quick then. So needless to say I didn’t leave the greatest tip, just the minimum, I really didn’t feel taken care or wanted there.

Great food for a great price! I highly recommend this location by far. Food comes out quick, hot, and delicious.

Horrible horrible absolutely horrible! There was a hour n a half wait when there was no customers!! The food was cold!!! The bartender spent more time eating then making drinks mind u she was eating with her hands and I never saw her wash them) gross!!! The hostess girl was walking around talking about throwing hands at the next customer who said something!!! They say they are open till 2am but are turning customers away at this moment!! Talk about bad management and staff!!! I'll never eat here again!!

This is always my go to place whenever I'm leaving out of katy and heading home. They never miss
