Portage Coffeeworks - Gravenhurst

I have mainly ordered takeout from this restaurant. The takeout experience has been a great value, with reasonable prices and good service.

In my opinion, Ume Sushi was fairly average. The food was okay considering the price and value, but the portions were on the smaller side.

I would give this restaurant 3.5 stars, but it's almost a 4! We visited late on a weeknight (around 9:30pm) and even though they were quite busy, there were still several tables available.

Good roasted-on-site coffee. Lunches served. Nice seating by a fireplace. Hours a little unpredictable.

Portage Coffeeworks is by far a gem in Muskoka. From the addictive coffee, to the mouthwatering cheddar chive biscuits that I can never pass up nibbling on when I leave them on my kitchen counter. This is by far a must stop at location with heading up to cottage country!
