I stopped in with a little over an hour till close, so unfortunately the day's pickings was slim. Susie, owner/baker, runs the whole shabiggalow. Her small shop specializes in wedding cakes. Their donuts' best-selling time of day is the 9-10am hour, not the assumed 6-8am rush. I got a vanilla cupcake with buttercream icing. Good, but nothing above and beyond. Susie does an amazing job customizing any dessert you desire. I had cupcakes organized in a heart formation with whipped icing. The texture, flavor, and consistency of the cupcakes were perfect! Plus, the presentation was very nice! The local shop has a variety of treats to satisfy your craving for sweets like cakes, cake pops, cookies, and more. Everything is freshly made in-house and if your specialty dessert requires a design, Susie has got you covered!

Susie is amazing, so it 's no wonder her baked goods are too! My poor daughter had come down with a bug, and couldn 't bake. Saw Susie 's on Yelp, so I called last minute needing a couple dozen cupcakes for my family and a few kids, for my granddaughter 's 7th birthday. Susie 's husband Brian, who is equally amazing, answered and talked me through some options and then confirmed the plan with her. So immediately my frayed nerves were settled and the pickup time was set. My special request was that the cupcakes have at least one emoji decoration for the birthday girl. Not only did Susie get 6 of them decorated with various emojis, she had the foresight and knew the trends of kids today, and embellished 3 of them with the now infamous poop emoji. The minute I arrived home with the box, and announced there would be emoji cupcakes after all, my granddaughter 's eyes lit up and she exclaimed Is there poop? Realizing how insightful Susie 's decision had been, I was as ecstatic as I saw the birthday girl 's joyful reaction to my answer! Meeting this awesome baking team during pickup was a delight, as they learned I was new to the neighborhood, and took time to chat. Even gave me a free delicious long John to try!! The grande finale is that the whole family raved about the cupcakes, fresh, moist, and delicious. Perfect icing. The Buckeye flavor was a huge hit with adults and kids alike. Susie and Brian made grandma the hero, mom was happy, and delighted a little girl on her special day!! A must for anyone looking for exceptional baked goods and phenomenal customer service!

A neat little bakery tucked in a small storefront in downtown Granville. A wide range of baked goods and Amish foods that are all very tasty and surprisingly well priced. The staff is friendly and attentive and the sweets are a treat. The store offers two lines of Amish baked goods as well as locally made items. Big and sugary! Also sell a wide range of standard beverages plus a line of Kutztown sodas which I haven't seen since I was in Lancaster, PA.
