Good food is not a big menu. But really fun environment

I'm here for military training, and on a Saturday night I wanted to go with some of the guys from my unit and dinner on the fly for easy access. I'm staying at the hotel where the restaurant is and playing a live band. I was stopped on the entry because there is a $7 fee to pay because there is live music. I finished dinner all together and eat chips in my room because they don't let people come without paying the fee for the band. In my opinion, I don't care who the band is, unless it's a concert and I'm going out for this solely reason I won? do not pay for live music. The restaurant should cover these costs to bring guests and not pay the guests for if they only want to eat and go. Unreal that Veterans Day weekend I can?t go celebrations in a restaurant without a fee for a mediocre band I don't hear. Food on the other hand is good and the bartender is an extremely nice hardworking guy. Do not misunderstand that the place is great in one night without an event. P.S type at the reception was quite rude and I? ve was never spoken by an employee.

We had their Cheeseburger and Pommes. Very good. The only complaints were service was slow and it was very cold in the restaurant and through the lobby where we visited with friends. I even had a sweater.

We had a great time here for a birthday party. There were lines dancing all night and the other dancers were very helpful. The DJ was great and took song requests. The food was delicious and the waiting staff friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back.

Hotel prices... haven't had a lot of experience with restaurants in hotels so was a bit surprised at the prices. $8 10 for a good hamburger I can understand....$14 for a grilled chicken salad; $20 for a serving of salmon; $36 for a steak? Maybe some don't think it excessive, but I do. Wait staff was fine quick, and informative and pleasant. Food was very good!!
