Holiday Inn Harrisburg (hershey Area) I-81

Business trip. My company made the reservation. Nice, clean. Parking lot has security driving around. The chair in the room went over backwards when I sat back it was a minor issue, fridge is to small to hold anything. TV sucked, wasn’t able to watch a baseball game. Hotel staff are wonderful. Guests not so much. Room next me carried on until 2am

Absolutely terrible staff?My children went to get breakfast but staff proceeded to remove breakfast. My children ask to get breakfast and the Staff that was there continued to take the breakfast and refused to give them at least 5 minutes to get breakfast!!! ? I am extremely disappointed. On top of that I have ended up forgetting my Chocolates. They were brand new in the Hershey bag in the fridge. No more then 20 minutes later of us checking out I seemed to notice that I was forgetting my chocolates and called the front desk ask if they can save it for me so I could come back and get it. Moments later I get told it is gone. I am very unsatisfied and have never experienced a hotel like this.7/24/23

I stayed here from Friday to Sunday. The rooms are very nice but the bathrooms have no safety features. I slipped out of the tub onto the floor while trying to take a shower because there are no anti-slip features in the tubs. Wrote to General Manager about the problem and I didn't even get an apology or an answer to my letter. I could have sued but I was not looking for money just that the company would look out for the next person(s) that might not be so nice about the matter if it should happen again.Safety: See experience part of myComments.

We checked in late 3am and Scottie the night reservationist was so nice and polite. He checked us in quickly. The room was very clean and the AC was kicking. The bed sheets were very soft. We got a great night sleep before heading to Hersheypark. This hotel is convenient and close by the park. We had another family member on the same floor and they were very happy as well. Vending machine and ice in same floor. We were there for a quick stay at a reasonable price. Highly recommend. The hotel is under some renovations so that means it will be even better next year, Mike the manager was also very accommodating. Rachel Dorfman from Long Island NY

About 7 miles from Hershey and a quick on/off from RT81, so not bad for a location. Hotel service people were nice and quick to request. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. However, the service staff was lacking in cleaning during our stay. We had our Pug with us but kept her in a secured play pen. The room was only cleaned once over a three day stay. Only came in to empty trash and hustle out of there, not even leaving a plastic bag in the process. American Grill food was good for breakfast, but service was lacking. The pool area was clean. A bit overpriced and needs more upkeep around the grounds and inside, especially the rugs.
