Cultured Palate- Cuban Food, Cocktails Wine

Some of the best food I had here in South-Oregon. this restaurant feels like family and is super welcoming. the owner is in the rule there and comes out of the kitchen to welcome their customers. my friend and I went there a few years ago and had this blackberry lavender cheesecake was the best I ever had. Not sure if they had this on the menu more, but gosh was amazing!

We often go here on a Saturday to take advantage of the relaxed atmosphere and enjoy the delicious, authentic Cuban food. angela treats all like family, so we always feel welcome. if they do nothing else (but I hope they all try) they think they are a cup of cubano coffee and dessert. they are the best desserts in the rogue valley imho.

I love this sweet restaurant! Sweet Cuban decor and the music is embroidered! eat it! I can't express how much I loved every court I tried. always fresh ingredients! I think every meat they serve is marinated and then perfectly cooked. I recommend the Cuban sandwich, which is served with plantain (a cousin to banan) chips. service is excellent. her wine collection is very extensive!

What a delightful experience! The restaurant boasts an excellent location in the city, and the portions are generous (though the small bites might leave you wanting more). The plantain chips are absolutely the best I've ever tasted—slightly crunchy and perfect! While my partner isn't a fan of Cuban cuisine, he really enjoyed the food here. The dessert and drink options sound fantastic as well. We just left and are already planning to return!

This place caught my attention while driving past on 6th the other day, and decided to give them a try. Called for a takeout order, pleasant person on the phone took my order, was apologetic in informing me my particular order may take a little bit as the cubanos take some time to prepare and might take upwards of 20 minutes. A nominal wait mid day, so I ordered a GP Cubano, and the tostonas bread with sauce samplers. OMG! Soooo good. I have not had an authentic Cubano, or plantains for some time and this food was absolutely authentic. The sandwich was great, and the sauce sampler was also great. So much flavor, and instantly impressed with the ingredients all seemingly fresh and quality. The olive oil had taste! Refreshing to see such a unique option here in town, I will definitely be back. Highly reccomend.
