Sushi Kuni - Grand Rapids

First stop on our trip to GR from the East side of the state and we are pleasantly surprised. Great service. SUPER quick and damn good sushi. I’ll be back whenever I’m back in town.

As someone who is not a fan of sushi I think this restaurant is fantastic. I was hoping to try some traditional Japanese dishes after seeing many YouTube videos. The atmosphere and staff are both great. My waitress helped me pick up some non-Sushi dishes. First, the hot tea they serve is completely different from the standard tea from local Chinese restaurants. The mix soup had basic ingredients, but was very satisfying. I went with the tonkatsu the first time there and it was great, very humid with a light dough and a special tonkatsu sauce above the top. The Tempura Appetizer made me wish more. You can't go wrong here and I highly recommend it.

Amazingly fresh sushi. Our server was excellent and very helpful in selecting drinks and sushi. Very recommended!

What a great find!! The place is very clean quiet. Our waitress, Carrie, was incredibly attentive. Our food came out quickly was delicious. Recommend the Bento Box. So much food, so much variety. My 7 years old loved the beef teriyaki from the children's menu!! It was a nice dinner.

Very happy we finally tried. Inside is very comfortable and well equipped. Service was very good. Many decisions. All we had was excellent. I would recommend it very much.
