Carvers - Grand Rapids

I ordered the Philly, which was made with quality ingredients like Kobe beef. Price was a tad high (due to the location) but quality , quantity , and taste more than made up for it. I would visit here again to try out the rest of the menu

DELICIOUS sandwiches. Can’t go wrong with the sandwich menu. Also the fries are to die for. It is about a 10-15 min wait (a little slow but worth it) and not cheap for a sandwich place, but excellent quality and I’d definitely recommend. Staff was very nice here too.

I ordered the steak sandwich, and it was absolutely divine! The Kobe beef was tender and juicy, and it complemented the sautéed mushrooms and onions, provolone cheese, and horseradish sauce perfectly. The fries were also fantastic—well-seasoned and crispy until the very last bite! This meal was definitely worth every penny.

Carvers is fantastic! The cheeseburger, hot chicken sandwich, and fries were all incredibly tasty. The portion sizes and quality definitely justify the price. I visited again in May 2022, and it was just as good as my experience in July 2021, with even larger portions this time. This place is a gem, and we’ll definitely return when we’re on the west side!

This is one of the many fantastic places in Downtown Market. They have an impressive selection of local meats at their meat counter, offering some amazing cuts. Additionally, their variety of sandwiches and hot dogs is outstanding. I tried the Kobe beef hot dogs, and they were possibly the best I've ever had. The only downside is that seating can be a bit difficult to find when the market is crowded, which is why I gave it four stars.
