Big City Sushi - Grand Rapids

The rice was fresh and the ingredient were a great quality for the price. It also was made really quickly so it’s a good lunch spot. Rice was a body temperature and fish was chilled which most places don’t get right so I enjoyed that. Also the staff was very attentive.

This is my top choice for lunch in the downtown area of Grand Rapids. I love the convenience of getting in and out quickly, and their two-roll combo for $9 is a great deal. There are plenty of options to choose from, but my favorites are the spicy tuna and the Philadelphia rolls. The ingredients are consistently fresh, and the staff member who takes orders is always friendly and efficient. I also noticed they offer several rolls that can be made gluten-free. Local tip: The Downtown Market provides the first half hour of parking for free. Additionally, you can easily reach the Downtown Market using the free DASH bus.

In Downtown Market, nice for lunch, good selection of sushi

I visited for lunch and was surprised by how much larger the portion was than I expected. I definitely ended up overdoing it. The food was great, but we decided to hold off on returning for a date in the future.

This was my first time trying this place and they have very good and fresh sushi and sashimi! The display is something that caught my eye too! Highly recommend
