Mike's Real Pit B-que - Grand Prairie

Nothing to write home. I really enjoyed the bores and as others have said, the sauce is great. the thing to texas brisket is it should not rely on sauce at all. the brisket and spiced more like meat from a deli where they mayonnaise call sharp. the brisket was dry and the sausage was missing taste. I think this place could be great if they made some adjustments. especially when seasoning. even the mais felt as if he had been in water for too long. I hope to come back and in the future try to see if I just met a strange day.

Food here is amazing! BBQ sauce is out-of-this-world great. Staff and owner are super nice and friendly people. IMHO, this is a true BBQ spot! Feels like home (cozy/comfortable) and they have it all: Dine-In (lot's of booths and tables), Drive-thru window (great lunch spot), PRETTY SURE THEY DO CATERING TOO. THANK YOU MIKE! Texas as a whole has disappointed me when it comes to BBQ...this place is an exception. Truly some of the best BBQ I have ever had.

The best rib and brisket I’ve have ever tasted! Yummy ? great portions too! Everything was delicious! The corn, the baked beans and baked potato! Met Mike the owner great guy! The atmosphere is just perfect for a BBQ joint in Texas! Once the sell out they closeup for the day so get there early!
