Cafe Bucolique - Grand-Mere

A cafe sort of crammed into a farmhouse, with wacky decor, very good coffee and lovely cakes and muffins. Didn't stop for a meal, but all the food looked very tempting. Friendly staff too.

This little coffee shop located in the heart of Saint-Flore will make you travel into time! Entering this coffee shop, you will be greeted by the most sincere of welcomes. You will also notice that the owner has decorated her century old house with items bringing you back to the 1950s-1960s. It is overpacked with antiquities that are hypnotizing yet very intriguing. In the summer, the back yard terrace is open and there you will enjoy the countryside breeze and flowers. In the winter time, a crackling little fire in the main room will captivate you, whether you are there to study, surf internet or simply enjoying your favourite hobby. After coffee time, you can visit her antiques shop, located in a miniature barn on the same lot as the Bucolique. There, you can purchase items directly from the owners private collection at a very affordable price.

Just made a stop there with my friend... It is such a lovely place... Great atmosphere... You reallz feel you are going back in time... People are very kind and the homemade cake i took was just fantastic and tasty..Do not hesitate if you pass there make a stop..

We were staying close by and recommended to try here even if it was just a coffee Boy im glad we did. The Decor outside and in is Amazing!! The lady serving us was the owner and she was busy baking on site! But we got our coffee, hot chocolate promptly. We went for desserts also which were very tasty and fresh! I hope this cafe is very successful
