Kiln Coffee - Grand Junction

This was my second visit to the restaurant. On the positive side, the space is spacious, bright, and has plenty of seating, along with some nice merchandise available for sale. However, I did have a disappointing experience with the coffee. I prefer lower-acid, bold dark roasts, so I asked for a recommendation on a pour-over. The written description seemed perfect for my taste, but unfortunately, it turned out to be quite bright and acidic, which I didn’t enjoy at all. I also bought a bag of their holiday blend, and I encountered the same issue with that. To top it off, I felt like I needed superhuman strength to get through the flavors.

The Honduras natural-processed pour-over coffee was fantastic—truly outstanding. Unfortunately, my pumpkin muffin was a bit dry; I'm not sure if that was intentional for health reasons or if it was possibly a day old. However, the coffee definitely deserves a solid five stars!

Excellent coffee made here and at a convenient downtown location. Staff is always friendly. Wish they had other breakfast items such as burritos or sandwiches, but they just have pastries which are very good.

I ordered the hot chai latte and really wish they had warned me about its spiciness. It tasted overwhelmingly like ginger, and I wasn't able to drink it, ultimately wasting over $5. I'm giving this place 2 stars because my husband enjoyed his vanilla latte.

I stopped by twice and ordered two big cups of cold brew. The atmosphere is always lively when I'm here, but I didn't stick around because I prefer chairs with backs, and most of the seating consists of stools. Nonetheless, it’s probably the best spot on Main Street.
