Ellden's Grill Banquet - Grand Island

I ordered a vegetarian pasta dish specifically because it was supposed to include mushrooms. However, when it arrived, I noticed that there were no mushrooms in it. I pointed this out to both the server and the manager, but they merely shrugged it off and offered apologies. It seems they had run out of mushrooms but hadn't mentioned this when I placed my order. I believe they should have either discounted my meal or offered a complimentary dessert, but nothing like that was proposed. It felt like a case of being penny-wise but pound-foolish. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience.

The food was enjoyable, but I was disappointed that the chef didn't offer me a discount, even though I know his son.

The food was outstanding, and the waitstaff were very friendly.

I recently hosted a funeral dinner, and the Grand Island Buffet exceeded my expectations with its delicious offerings. Jessica was fantastic, managing to organize the lunch on very short notice. Donna coordinated the dining experience and was incredibly kind and helpful. On Mother's Day, May 9, 2021, we enjoyed a delightful brunch/lunch that was the perfect way to celebrate our mother’s special day. The food and service were outstanding. They even provided beautifully printed menus for each guest, along with a lovely reserved sign displaying my name at the table. I am truly grateful for their excellent and friendly customer service.

I had the beer-battered chicken breast with coleslaw and sweet potatoes. The service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable.
